WaveMux is a virtual sound device. It consists of an audio driver that can mix multiple INPUT streams in real-time.

WaveMux is an enhancement product for SoftCam. It allows SoftCam to blend different audio streams into your conference. Your voice is always preserved and is layered on top of your different stream choices. There are 3 ways to insert sound into your conference:

1. As a standalone sound effect
2. As an audio portion of an AVI file
3. As an Audio Element of your media Title.

WaveMux Use Cases
Distance learning networks use WaveMux functionality to blend their voice over training AVIs. The teacher can commentate or discuss the student's level of understanding while the training clip is still playing.

Online help desks can bring together the personality of a live operator with the consistent delivery of accurate stored information. The help desk operator would interact with the customer, selecting the appropriate media file to supplement her support.

Availability
WaveMux can be purchased separately to add onto your existing SoftCam. It is also included, along with FloatIt, in the SoftCam Pro release.
