All Luminositi products have global settings that can be adjusted from the Control Panel. Click on Start->Settings to invoke your system's Control Panel. From here you can double-click the Luminositi logo.

Each Product has an individual tab that allows the user to adjust settings specific to that product.

First Capture Device
Adjusts SoftCam to be at the top of the list of video capture
devices. Some video applications, such as RealNetwork's Encoder,
only use the first listed device. Our installation process sets
SoftCam as first, but subsequent installations of other devices
may disrupt the order. Reapply this setting to ensure that SoftCam
is the first listed device.

Side Tone
Gives you the ability to hear the sound effects and AVI audio
that is being sent to the remote party. This setting
enables side tone capability and must be enabled for the
SIDE TONE setting in the options
panel to work.
Preferred Audio Device
Adjusts WaveMux to be the system's preferred sound device. This
can also be adjusted through the MULTIMEDIA dialog on the Control
Panel. Some applications, such as RealNetwork's Encoder, use the
system's preferred device rather than allowing you to select a
custom audio source.
Prioritize PCM Converter
Sets PCM as the first converter in the list. PCM is the most widely
used format and setting it as the first helps Windows find it
faster.
Buffer Size is a tuning parameter for advanced users. A higher setting (max of 1,000) can help a slower machine smooth out audio. A lower setting (min of 200) can help a faster machine reduce audio latency.
